1 lb ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, diced
8 oz tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
8 frozen garlic toast slices
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Beef and Onion
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is fully browned and no pink remains. Break up the meat as it cooks.
Step 2: Drain the Grease

Step 4: Simmer the Filling
Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for a few minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 5: Prepare the Garlic Toast
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the frozen garlic toast slices on a baking sheet.
Step 6: Add the Sloppy Joe Mixture
Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly over each piece of garlic toast.
Step 7: Add the Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the sloppy joe mixture.
Step 8: Bake
Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the garlic toast is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
